The Al Baqee Organization is a coalition of International Muslims committed to raise awareness of atrocities and attacks on Muslims, Islam and Islamic Heritage. Jannat-Ul-Baqee (or) Jannat Al-Baqee is the famous cemetery located right across the Masjid-al-Nabawi (The mosque of Prophet Mohammad PBUH) in the Holy City of Madina. Children, wives and immediate relatives of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are buried in this cemetery. The cemetery was demolished on 8th of Shawwal 1344 AH, and this year marks the 100 year anniversary of its demolition.
A protest is being organized in front of the Saudi consulate in Los Angeles to commemorate the 100 years of destruction of Jannatul Baqee. This call to action is to encourage everyone to participate in this protest, which will take place on Saturday, April 29th at 2 pm at 12400 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90025
It is our duty and responsibility to the Ahlulbayt to ensure that their legacy is preserved and respected. The destruction of Jannatul Baqee and other holy sites is an ongoing issue that requires immediate attention and action from the international community.
By participating in this protest, we can raise awareness about the ongoing destruction of Islamic heritage sites, demand justice for the Ahlulbayt, and urge the Saudi government to take immediate action to preserve these sites.
The Al-Baqee Organization urges the Muslim community and supporters of the cause to attend this protest and make their voices heard. Together, we can send a powerful message to the Saudi government and the international community that we will not stand idly by while our heritage is being destroyed.
