The Crescent Moon of the Month of Rabi al-Akhir 1442 A.H.
| The Shia Muslim Council of Southern California would like to announce that the first day of Rabi al-Akhir 1442 A.H. will be Tuesday, November 17th, 2020. This is based on no confirmed sightings of the new crescent moon on November 15th, 2020 in North America. Key Dates for Rabi al-Akhir:8 Rabi al-Akhir (Nov. 24): Birth of Imam Hasan al-Askari (p) 10 Rabi al-Akhir (Nov. 26): Death of Lady Masooma Thinking about Law School? On Monday, November 16, at 2:30 pm, CKS alumni who are practicing in the legal field will speak to students about how they selected, pursued, and practice their career paths. This is part of a “Careers In” series City or Knowledge is holding that familiarizes students with various careers, shows them paths to success, and allows them to ask questions to individuals practicing in those fields.
