Crescent Moon of the Month of Sha’ban, 1439 AH
| On behalf of the Shia Muslim Council of Southern California, we would like to announce that the first day of Sha’ban 1439 AH will be Tuesday, April 17th, 2018. The crescent moon was sighted on Monday, April 16th, 2018. We pray to Allah to guide and bless us as we remember Imam Hussain (AS), Abu Fadl al-Abbas (AS), Imam Ali Zainul Abideen (AS), and Imam al-Mahdi (AS).
