On behalf of the Shia Muslim Council of Southern California, we would like to announce that the first day of Rajab 1439 AH will be Monday, March 19th, 2018. The crescent moon was not sighted on Saturday, March 17th, 2018.

We pray to Allah to guide and bless us as we remember Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (AS), Imam Ali al-Hadi (AS), Imam Muhammad al-Jawad (AS), Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS), Imam Musa al-Kadhim (AS), and Sayyida Zainab (AS) during this month.
