Congratulations to the Muslim Memory Walkers, led by Sister Yasmin Kermalli, who supporting the Orange County Alzheimer’s Association to raise awareness to this growing and debilitating disease. The Muslim Memory Walkers raised funds to support Alzheimer’s care and research, for the 20th year now. The group raised over $3,500. Today there are more than 84,000 Orange County residents living with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia and that number is projected to more than triple by 2050. the money raised remains local and provides life changing research, programs, advocacy and support services for those living with memory loss as well as those who love and care for them.
