The Crescent Moon of the Month of Rabi al-Awwal, 1439 AH
| On behalf of the Shia Muslim Council of Southern California, we would like to announce that the first day of Rabi al-Awwal 1439 AH will be Monday, November 20th, 2017. No crescent moon was sighted on Saturday, November 18th. We pray to Allah to guide and bless us as we remember Imam Hassan al-Askari(A.S), Prophet Muhammad (A.S), and Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (A.S).
